This workshop lead by Nationally Certified Pilates Instructor Mia Melendez explores pelvic health and how movement can impact it. Awareness of how you sit and stand show how different habits can impact pelvic health and issues can arise at any age. A few Pilates based exercises will help participants lubricate joints and improve mobility in hips and thoracic spine, ultimately setting you up for pelvic health. In our first workshop you will explore pelvic health and how movement can impact it. We will start with a lecture to educate and spread awareness about common issues that can arise at any age. We will help you create awareness of how you sit and stand to show how different habits can impact your pelvic health. We will then teach a few Pilates based exercises that will help lubricate your joints and improve the mobility in your hips and thoracic spine, ultimately setting you up for pelvic health.
